This year we have so much to be thankful for--here are just a few of our favorite blessings. We are thankful for
fun cousins.
We are thankful that
Claire WILL eventually outgrow this phase. And thankful that we'll remember it all fondly--at least that's what people keep telling us. (I came downstairs after bathing her to get the maple syrup out of her hair, and found her elbow deep in the PB&J.)
We are thankful for
fun family traditions, and good friends.
Every year we spend the day after Thanksgiving tromping through the woods in search of the perfect tree with our good friends, the Castagnettos. (And when I say woods, I mean the local Christmas tree farm. :) After the trees are chopped and loaded, we have donuts and hot chocolate. It is a favorite memory for our family.
Joel had a helper this year. You can always tell a Dad--he' s the guy who can handle using sharp instruments while being mauled by a toddler. More experiences we can't wait to remember fondly. :)

Yay for cousins! You will have so many fun stories to tell Claire one day - they'll probably be a lot funnier then than they are now :)
I just had to bust out laughing at the PB & J picture! It is so Claire! Oh, she's a character. It was good to see you guys this past weekend.
Jordan and I are laughing at Claire covered in PB&J. She's a wild one, that girl! But she's the source of some GREAT stories and pictures! =)

thanks for letting us in the get your own tree spot. we had a blast too. however as i was trying to look at the tree you picked all i could notice was how LONG your hair is getting...so super chic. who needs a hair plan anyway? lol.
oh and claire in the PB&J...i mean it's not even her fault at this point. you should know better by now missy.
ps. she's gonna get Brody into a lot of trouble someday isn't she:)
